After a scientific activity or experiment, kids can fill out this chart together in a co-op, class, or home.
What you do already know? – After the activity or experiment is explained (“This is what we are doing today”) kids can write what they already know if they have done this before or watch it before.
What do you want to know? – Encourage kids to fill this out, although it may be blank depending on the age, knowledge, or attitude of the child. It gets them thinking about what knowledge they might newly acquire.
What did you learn? – After the experiment, get answers for this from everyone and write it down. Offer something you have newly learned, too.
